"Louise - Your beach house exceeded our expectations. Everything was so nice. It was the perfect gathering spot for family from Kansas, Los Angeles, and Portland. We loved it. Tidal Rave was our favorite restaurant, but we managed to try chowder from several local restaurants too. Thank you for the recommendations and for organizing the house to run smoothly. It was hard for us to leave - especially to walk away from the leather chairs in front of the windows. "Louise - One of the many highlights of our stay at the beach house was a Charter fishing trip with my three son in laws. We caught our limit and had a great time but best was yet to come. On our return trip to the Marina, we were blessed to watch a Gray Whale feeding along the side of our Charter boat. He surfaced many times and our captain knew just how to keep up with him (or maybe a her). All our children had a fantastic time on the Oregon coast, and they loved the Beach House. " Louise - A Perfect Retreat! - I took my team of 5 there for a planning conference and retreat. It was so perfect! Everyone had lots of room and the common areas are so spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is very well outfitted and it is so beautiful. Just stay home and eat in! The storms were so fun to watch from teh recliners and an eagle flew by several times. We all higly recommend it and hope to go back next year! We went to the Earthbound Spa in Newport and had massages. It is small but the massages were good. Dinner at Aprils was great too. "

Once at the house, we all settled in and enjoyed the ocean and beach. The accommodations could not have been better. Plenty of bed space, living space, kitchen space and room for everyone to "chill out". We walked the beach almost every day, flew kites, explored a little bit of Newport and drove up the coast to Depoe Bay. We had three days that I have described to friends back home as "perfect". Clear skies, puffy clouds out to sea, almost 60 degrees and family all around. It was great.

I want to tell you how much my family enjoyed our time in your beach house in June of this year. We loved your house!! It was everything we had hoped and more: pristine, beautiful, convenient, private, easy to get to, gorgeous views, luxurious. It worked exactly as I had hoped it would for our family. Thank you for your hospitality and your care of the property. The kids got to the house before we did and as Rick and I were walking in the front door, my granddaughter came racing up, dancing with excitement, saying, “We saw WHALES!! Right out the front window!! Whales!!” And sure enough, we saw them every day we were in the house but one, and that day we saw them elsewhere. When one of our siblings turns 80, the six of us with spouses meet up, this time at this wonderful house. We had a fabulous time, cancelled all dinners out in favor of eating in. Found wonderful fresh fish on a local dock. House is on one level and VERY well equipped, clean and furnished. The decks are perfect for cocktail hour and sun bathing. The oldest of us, 84, had no trouble getting to the beach. Kite flying is fine. Bring plenty of binoculars so you can see the whales close-up. We have a new family table tennis champion (pro tem) and the REAL challenge is finding something as nice four years from now. Comfortable, quiet, roomy, private with every possible convenience, two dishwashers and the two birthday cakes we baked came out perfectly. In all: perfect. The 11 of us gave it a solid 10.0. - Bill"

"Louise, we had a wonderful time in your house. The very best equipped kitchen we have ever had in all of our rentals over the years. We love to cook, in fact we ate out at lunch once during the trip. Fresh tuna was outstanding. One of the daughter-in-laws family camped about 2 miles down the road and were with us during the day for 2 days. The whales were showing off and made for great viewing. The house is laid out great and the beach is quite accessible. The guys skinned, bogie boarded and even got a couple of decent rides on the surf board. Fished one day on the river, played golf one day flew kites, played ping pong so we stayed busy. The marathoners even got in a 14 mile run one morning. Attached is a group picture. We loved sitting and looking out at the sunset, the close walks to the beach front were simple even for a mother with a small child, the huge area to play games as a big group is unreal, ethe huge table to eat was perfect for our group. and the absolute privacy in the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms when we were ready to go our own ways. It was a perfect home for our team building excercise.

We loved everything about your home! The view, however, was the best part. We really enjoyed sitting in the chairs by the window and reading a book. We never wanted to go out to dinner since we had the best view in town. ( The seafood market down the road with take-out had the most amazing Halibut fish and chips!) We were especially impressed at how well stocked the kitchen was and how you made sure there was plenty of tissues, soap, paper towels etc. The walk to the beach was easy and we took advantage of that every day! We hope to come back again sometime! I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your lovely home. It was a perfect relaxing retreat from the craziness of life! Everyone in my family hopes to go back again. The view was stunning and the home so comfortable that we didn't want to leave. We were able to enjoy the Olympic trials as well as the beach.

After a fantastic, sunny week in your oceanfront home. We were over the moon about the house, its finishings and furnishings, and the unbeatable views. Everything! The living spaces were so suitable to our group of seniors and younger family members, and the bedrooms and baths were very well appointed and positioned.
Big, big smiles is right. The most universally stated question from my family members was: "How could the owners let complete strangers stay here? This home is just too beautiful to take a chance on renters that wouldn't take care of it." We were fortunate, indeed, to have the Muscato house experience!
Thanks again for sharing your beautiful oceanfront retreat with us for our family reunion. We couldn't have been happier.

We had another great year and a splendid time! The weather and the accommodations were perfect. We really enjoyed going to Local Ocean and would highly recommend it to anyone! Georgie was very average and Fishtails a Breakfast and Lunch delight! We ordered a few pies to go during our stay and they were magnificent!! Tidal Raves was also superb, as usual.

We DID have a wonderful time in Newport at your beautiful house! There were so many great things about it, especially the well-stocked kitchen and the very comfortable beds, not to mention the fabulous view! The house was absolutely perfect and we, all eight of us loved the stay. The chairs lined up along the front windows are wonderful. We all seemed to congregate there and in the seating area by the corner window. It was so well stocked! You obviously put a lot of time into its setup as a vacation rental.
